Britney Spears spilled the beans Friday morning with a tweet that said: "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I have been waiting for. Pop diva Britney Spears, 30, made her engagement with Jason Trawick, her former agent, official Friday night during family celebrations at Sin City's Planet Hollywood Resort. The longtime couple partied into Saturday morning to celebrate their engagement and Trawick's 40th birthday.

The beaming bride-to-be showed off her stunning three-carat, Neil Lane engagement ring, which Lane himself custom-designed with Jason Trawick.

Britney Spears first met Jason Trawick in 2006, when she was still married to her second husband and Trawick was a prominent agent with William Morris Endeavor Entertainment at the time. Rumors that the couple might be engaged first emerged in September 2011, when Britney Spears was spotted in London with a diamond ring on her finger.
There has been no word on cost of the ring. According to the Celebrity Bride Guide, Beyonce got an 18-carat diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring from Jay-Z that is worth more than $5 million. Edgy jeweler Stephen Webster designed Britney's Mouskateer friend Christina Aguilera's 5-carat diamond ring bought by her manager Jordan Bratman. Moreover, Katy Perry's sporting a 12-13-carat round brilliant cut diamond ring that cost her hubby Russell Brand a reported $1.3 million.
The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is wearing Princess Diana's ring, an 18 -carat oval sapphire that originally cost $65 grand. But reality TV royalty Kim Kardashian tops that with Kris Humphries' 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring. Even Hollywood actresses get more carats than Britney.
