Spears 'Help' Justin Become Soloist

The song 'Cry Me a River' is one single that popularized the name of Justin Timberlake as a soloist. Apparently, the song is Justin's broken heart song.


The song (Cry Me a River) was written in 2002 when Justin was just a fight with his girlfriend, Britney Spears. The song is rumored to be a love story of their breakup. In the video clip, Justin also takes a similar model of women's Britney.

Justin has always denied when asked about the facts surrounding the song. But recently, Justin's friend who is also his producer, Timbaland confirm it. Britney is the inspiration of the song.

"He went to a concert and saw Britney, and Britney talked about him in show and Justin was pissed," said Timbaland.

Justin and Britney then arguing on the phone because of it. After a conversation on the phone, Justin entered the studio and record songs with very emotional.

The former 'N Sync star split from Spears that year. The track went on to land Timberlake the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
