Janet Hubert Book Review

Janet Hubert Book “Perfection Is Not A Sitcom Mom” Review

Well, we have all been fans of the TV Show - The Fresh Prince of Bel Air - and we all could not believe when season 4 started with another woman on Aunt Vivian's role. I mean, Will and Jazz making fun about Janet Hubert turning into Daphne Reid after giving birth to her baby was as silly as everything else was after Janet left the show. I could not believe myself this was happening. The truth is the show was no more fun after that, you would laugh at 4 or 5 episodes out of a hundred of seasons 4, 5 and 6.

I knew something bad happened backstage, and I never bought Janet being crazy, at least that is what Will and Alfonso (Carlton) played out there, even on YouTube, shame on some people! I do not know how Janet could keep her mouth that long, but I am really happy for her now! She is a woman, and I, as a man, really respect her for being that and fighting for her family's name. Way to go Janet. Your book rock. Hollywood Hell Machine just could not make you fit in because you are so true!
She did a fantastic job writing this book. What a shame it was not a best seller, it should have been. She tells all. You have to purchase this book!

A sound like Mr. Smith was something else to work. But you know, there's always two sides to a story as the saying goes. If I were Janet Hubert, I would have endured and put up with the dude--or "kissed a@@" for the sake of feeding my child and keeping a comfortable roof over our heads.
This book gave me closure as to why my favorite mother suddenly left the show after three seasons.

I love this book. Ms. Hubert is a lovely lady. I hate that she had to go through all of that. But she is a strong lady and through her pain she is able to help others by letting them know they can overcome anything.

This book was quick and easy to read. The author went into detail of her trials in life and while being on the show. I must say that at times I found the book a bit disturbing but interesting nonetheless. It seems she has suffered more than one mental breakdown. I do find it interesting that will get is all of the blame. I wondered why she had not blamed the producers or the staff or anyone else for that matter.
